Thrustmaster T80 Controls

Thrustmaster T80 Ferrari Edition (USB) Control scheme for F1 24 (Controls are not yet fully optimized)

If you have problems to get your Thrustmaster T80 being recognized by F1 24, follow these steps.

1. Download Thrustmaster T80 drivers, it should be something from 2018. Install it. LINK: https://support.thrustmaster.com/en/product/t80ferrar♥♥♥♥gtbedition-en/
2. Download Thrustmaster T150 newest driver from 2024 and install that one too. LINK: https://support.thrustmaster.com/en/product/t150ffb-en/
3. Restart your PC.
4. Search in Windows search bar "Control panel" There should be two, one from the T150 driver (wheel icon) and one from the T80 drivers (a controller icon) Check if both control panels recognize the T80. If so then F1 should be able to recognize it now.

The Wheel has 2 modes "Racing Mode" and "Game pad mode"

The Summary of this is that there is two Wheel modes, Racing and Game pad mode.

- Racing Mode - The wheel is recognized as a proper wheel, and is more sensitive.
- Game Pad Mode - The wheel is recognized as a game pad, has three sensitivity settings.

If you want to change the Wheel's mode:

- Close the Control panel
- Unplug the T80 from your PC
- Press and hold the PS button, located on the T80's wheel.
- Connect the racing wheel to the PC's USB port, with the PS button pressed.
- Release the PS button.

If the LED on your Wheel starts flashing in a slow rate then it is in game pad mode.
If the LED on your Wheel has a continues light it is in Racing mode.
