CAI NF-17 "Rhamporhynchus"

Pydrinck's most modern fighter aircraft, the Rhamporhynchus is a compact, agile aircraft packed with as much firepower as its frame would allow. With excellent visibility and an impressively short takeoff distance, these fighters are employed both onboard the carriers of the Imperial Navy and even the most primitive of airfields, acting as the first line of defence should the home islands ever come under attack. Due to the unusual structure of Pydrinck's armed forces, even land-based contingents remain under the authority of the navy, and so all extant examples of the type possess equipment necessary for carrier operation, allowing the transfer of squadrons as rapid replacements should naval aviation ever be depleted.
