CNI M-111 "Watchman"

A series of mass-produced harbour defence boats, the Watchman is a slow, shallow draught design capable of operating even in the most temporary of ports. With a number of potent guns and extensive anti-aircraft firepower, they act as an effective surrogate for more permanent shore defences, or as a cheap supplement to those where they do exist. Able to support shore patrols for short distances, they provide additional firepower where their lack of swiftness poses no issue, such as in occasional convoy escorting duties. Still, they remain too light to pose a serious threat to heavier vessels even in numbers, so their captains stand ready to fall back and call upon the fleet proper should the need arise.
