Aquamorphibius

Aquamorphibius (AKA Aquas) are known fro living almost exclusively underwater. They developed dolphin-like respiratory and pulmonary systems in order to have maximum mobility underwater. They can hold their breath for up to an hour, something that it was thought only sloths could do. They are playful and smart, but they also have a lot of hidden power, and they sometimes forget that while playing, leading to injuries in non-Aqua playmates. They eat small fish and seagrass, and rarely venture onto land. It's unclear as to why they come onto land at all, instead of living their whole lives underwater. They are slow and clumsy on land, and lack the ability to fly, meaning their only means of escape in the chance of attack is to return to the water. They live in groups of three to nine, and are considered odd by the standards of their land-dwelling cousins. They lay eggs on whatever and they can find, and stay there until the eggs hatch. They usually lay two eggs in a clutch, and those eggs take around 5 weeks to hatch. Two thirds of the group go off to get food, while the rest stay and protect the eggs. Male Aquas have larger tailfins, while females are smaller.
