DD.LG.M7 - Legatus Destroyer

The Legatus Destroyer is the primary vessel for the Legion line of ships.

The DD.LG.M7 - Legatus Destroyer is the primary long range assault ship for the Legion line. Atmospheric design allows for maximum bombing potential using automated spinning "Hell Storm" warheads to rain fire from above. Equipped with 2 Kinetic bombs at the rear and downward facing camera allows for quick ground base destruction at a low cost. The 12 Artillery turrets will make quick work of any incoming large grid ship.

The pride of Legatus is the Legionnaire torpedos it launches on it's broadside. These quick welded missiles will need to be timed for your server weld speed, but the hangar can hold 10 at a time and fire 2 at a time or all at once. The active radar detection can be turned on to automatically defend and launch torpedoes when away from the cockpit.

The "Tribune" drone is a simple, cheap fighter meant for taking enemy fighter's attention away from the Legatus. It's printed on a single rotor spinning on the rear left underbelly of the ship, which allows for the Legatus to keep printing more as you continue your assault from above.

The Legatus is also equipped with your typical home-away-from-home needs. Cryo Pod for long term treks and an interior bed for an addtional passenger needs. The cockpit has an automated armor function and welder that allows for a great view when flying out of combat, and a secure position when attacking your enemies. The hangar has enough room for a modest and flat shaped utility ship like the "Optio" utility ship in the Legion line.

This ship has been tested on a survival hardcore NPC based server and has withstood through dozens of fights over 6 months. No mods or scripts necessary, though auto level scripts and Auto LCD are pre programmed.
