Tropic Sunset

A tiny sunset island map designed primarily for 1v1s/deathmatch, but good for sandbox as well.

Try the huge sandbox version!

Features:
  • A buzzer when a player is killed (Can be disabled via noclipping to the room above the skybox)
  • AI nodes for your NPC battles
  • Navmesh for your nextbots and such
  • Sky that can be edited via the Sky Editor in Sandbox (Entities > Editors)
  • Map balanced for 1v1s, spawncamping mitigated
  • Pretty Cool Visuals with Moving Stars!!!

Update (6/3/24): Added navmesh, also fixed ingame icon.

You're a saint, not only the file size is small, it was specifically designed for 1v1 which is a rarity nowadays

Navmesh added, thanks for letting me know - custom NPCs (and nextbots) should work properly now.

I was about to use DrGbase Npcs but it says theres no navmesh

Reminds me of gm_Lair a lot and when me and my friend used to snipe from across the islands there in 2015 (bro, who asked)

Luckily enough this map's actually a condensed version of just that - a huge sandbox map I've been working on for a bit, and it's almost done!

I'll get back to it and have it out sooner or later, keep your eye out :)
