Every feature can be turned off in the settings
  • 180 backgrounds (10 for each unique station window + 40 mutual)
  • use Spacebar to turn on/off the background
  • the settings menu can be found at the top right corner
  • VI assistant, which comments your interaction with stations
  • ambient sounds
  • music for Crew Hire window (club/bar theme)
  • NPC portraits
  • dialogs with NPCs
  • docking status, free cargo space and money counters
  • your captain portrait (if you have the Real Captains 2 mod)
Every image is generated on my PC

  • tested on Avorion ver. 2.5
  • the mod can be installed / uninstalled safely mid-playthrough
  • incompatible with mods that completely rewrite vanilla "initUI" function, compatible with others

Mods technically work fine together, but changing captains classes via academy do not have modded classes

If you say that nothing happens, then you have not enabled the mod. Load save with 'override galaxy's mods' checkbox enabled. If the mod is somehow bugged out you should be able to see at least something
