Lore:

The F-10 Vulture had long served the IMDC well as a heavy strike bomber. While it had held up better than many of its contemporary designs, its Gatling armament was showing its age and its atmospheric performance was lacking. Existing Vultures were thus recalled for refit, bringing them in line with modern requirements.

While the four reloadable rocket launchers were deemed sufficient for its continued role, the twin Gatling guns and Gatling turret were in need of an upgrade. The two fixed Gatling guns were replaced with four Autocannon, giving the ship significantly more forward firepower. Additionally, the Gatling turret was also upgraded to an autocannon turret. Additional atmospheric thrust was installed, significantly improving its atmospheric performance and endurance. The new Vulture was capable of rapid strikes on enemy vessels, inflicting significant damage before withdrawing. When utilizing hit-and-run tactics, the upgraded Vulture is a concern for even larger vessels.

Out-of-character: Pertam certified. Upgraded fairly significantly in firepower and atmospheric handling. She flies very nicely, even on Pertam.

Note on the Gravity Aligner: it is configured as a "flight assist". As the Vulture has a fairly wide range of angles it is stable at in atmosphere, the Gravity Aligner is configured to allow you to still aim and maneuver while it is turned on. The ship should never start falling on its own with it enabled, but you can still crash if you don't mind your momentum, just like normal.
