Note: This mod only replaces the names of vanilla firearms.

This mod replaces all of the vanilla firearm names with their real names. All of the vanilla firearms and their magazines have been renamed. If you think any of these names are wrong, please leave a comment down below and let me know.

Pistols:
M9 Pistol = "Beretta M9"
M1911 Pistol = "Colt M1911"
D-E Pistol = "IMI Desert Eagle"

Revolvers:
M36 Revolver = "Smith & Wesson Model 36"
M625 Revolver = "Smith & Wesson Model 625"
Magnum = "Colt Anaconda"

Shotguns:
JS-2000 Shotgun = "Remington Model 870"
Sawn Off JS-2000 Shotgun = "Sawn-Off Remington Model 870"
Double Barrel Shotgun = "Remington Model 1900"
Sawn Off Double Barrel Shotgun = "Sawn-Off Remington Model 1900"

Rifles:
MSR700 Rifle = "Remington Model 700"
MSR788 Rifle = "Remington Model 788"

Assault Rifles:
M14 Single Shot Assault Rifle = "M14 Rifle"
M16 Assault Rifle = "Colt M16A3"

the M16A3 in 93 was really only given to SEALs and the Navy. Pretty sure the in-game M16 is meant to be an A1. Good mod :steamthumbsup:

Yeah, it definitely renames both versions of the double barrel to "Sawed-Off Remington Model 1900".

For anyone interested, it's really easy to fix. After subscribing to the mod, go to Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\108600\3254414054\mods\Vanilla Firearms - Real Names\media\lua\shared\Translate\EN and open ItemName_EN.txt. Then just find "ItemName_Base.DoubleBarrelShotgun" and change "Sawed-Off Remington Model 1900" to "Remington Model 1900".

Pretty sure the vanilla "Double Barrel Shotgun" is labeled ""Sawn-Off Remington Model 1900" by your mod even if it's NOT the sawn-off version.
I noticed after trying a mod that changes the model of it and nothing happened, it was a normal "Double Barrel Shotgun" all along lol

Have you thought about doing lore friendly names for weapon mods that replace vanilla weapons, such as Vanilla Firearm Expansion?
