Listening Craft

Massive orbital data harvester, high orbiting listening craft controlled from a neural interface chamber by a solitary operator. The bulk of the craft consists of the enormous storage and computing structure required for neural translations.

The craft is designed for operation in complete isolation at periods of up to 3 months. Maintenance on the solar arrays and firmware updates are conducted between these periods, coincidentally this also constitutes the operator's only outside interaction for their tenure.

The crafts are extraordinarily expensive due to massive system architecture, and as such they are contracted mostly by large corporations, and commissioned by "space monks" seeking a more detached lifestyle. This model was built by Planetarium Industrial Universal Manufacturing, and utilizes a unique form-factor which allows the craft in its entirety to perform as a rectenna.
