LIM LF-11A Augusta | Light Fighter

The LF-11A signifies Lagrange's first public bobbing into the world of military fighters - intended for use as point defense fighter for the Stanton and Blackburn stations as well as the signature fighter of an upcoming capital ship from Lagrange, the Augusta soars to the peak of affordable armed combat and features a connector not just for refueling, but primarily for the mounting of missile racks from our partners at Midori Consolidated Industries!

Though starting out with folded wings, the operator can easily unfold them for maintenance or for improved sideways thrust in atmospheric conditions! This jet also comes with two swivel spotlights which detect and highlight enemy bases, fighters, or ground vehicles to make accurate attacks easier.

Though since this is a light fighter, the fuel quantity reflects this - more atmospheric fanblades were added to mitigate the fuel drain in atmosphere, but this is absolutely not intended as a planetside patrolboat! If this or taxiing is needed, you can switch off the extra upwards thrust to save on fuel to get to your destination or, alternatively or in addition to, loading it up with ice to refuel as you fly!
