You are right, I forgot to mention this in the description: If you want to actually give the machinegun to the locals (rather than keeping it), you'll have to give the gun to basil before saving herman.

Hiring Basil prevents you from completing the Gun Emplacement quest where you turn in the MG42 - you should probably move the recruitment quest to that quest. Had to rollback a save several hours as a result

Hi. Good idea. However, I am only using original game assets for my RPC mods, and Claudette, if I remember right, doesn't even have a face, let alone only a handful of lines of dialogue. I need something to work with, can't make RPC's out of thin air. Maybe somebody else would be willing to create the necessary content, though.

Please make Claudette. She even goes into the militia in the game itself. And no one adds it.
