I used a workaround, with your halo, thank you for the general permission, should've asked anyway
But it was driving me nuts.
Released my mod now, thanks, guys for trying to help!
What you need is to copy the physic item and include it in your mod. Put it inside a vanilla folder path.
Vanilla physics files are located in the .\data\items\handheld_lights\scythe folder
so the dev needs to make an items folder and inside items a handheld_lights folder and in that a scythe folder and place the halo there.
And then in the physics item file correct the link to
.\data\items\handheld_lights\scythe\FemaleScythhalov5.phs and
.\data\items\handheld_lights\scythe\MaleScythhalov5.phs
But the halo mesh is not above my head, only if I move the mod folder from the workshop folder to
my kenshi/mods folder will the halo show up.
Is this issue only on my end?
Tried your halo + wings too, wings are there but the halo above the head only appears if the mod is in my kenshi mods folder.
From a commenter on steam: "You can start a new save if you wish. Importing is helpful for adding mods to existing saves for those that don't wish to start a new game each time they add/remove a mod.
When you load up your client, you should see Continue, New Game, Load Game, Import Game, etc. Choose Import Game. From there, you can choose the save you wish to import on the left side. The right side gives you details on the save as well as options to keep your buildings, research, dead npcs, and relations. There are also advanced options you can tweak to your preference."
If you go into the download folder for the mod there is a ragdoll folder that you can open in scythe and just mess with the values on the right. ill update it soon to include a light node added to the scythe. to have light work with a new physics object in fcs the object itself needs a light attached to it in scythe editor.
here is the guide where i learned how to do anything i only have about 10 hours in scythe
