The Jörmungand is the first large capital ship designed by OFS. In order to make the ship as survivable as possible, many innovations were used; multi layered armor, protected CIC, independant thrusters and decentralized magazines being the most importants. The result is a rather small cruiser but with incredible survivability for its size. The cruiser also boasts an impressive fixed and turreted weaponry as well as numerous utility systems and a large hangar. By far the most powerful ship in the OFS arsenal, the Jörmungand is very popular despite its price, because as usual with OFS products, the ship is incredibly sturdy and easy to maintain.
