The HDS is a multi-environ personnel dropship common used by the Sentinel CORPS. Commonly seen around and on Pertam, the asteroid field around Artemis, and occasionally used a transport to and from stations.

Armed with 5 fixed gatlins, 4 fixed autocanons, and 5 autocanon turrets; the HDS is equipped with light but effective suppressive fire capabilities should it need to drop troops in contested areas. While not meant for long term engagements, it is capable of defending itself and local area from small arms fire with ease.

Internal pressurized passenger bay allows the HDS to comfortably carry 10 troops long term and more if needed. Pilot and copilot section are sealed off by airlock segment to prevent depressurization should either the nose or rear be struck and no longer able to hold air, potentially preventing total loss. Auto parachute deploy mechanism to help ensure the craft can come to a rest on land if flight capabilities become compromised.

The HDS was originally intended for use with inner system forces but the prevailing TDS VTOL platform has shown remarkable utility. Unlike the TDS, the HDS does not have articulating thrust segments to effect the VTOL capabilities and is thus more effective when in use in the asteroid field around the system. Its more streamlined hull is easier to maneuver in tight areas.

Presently, there are no plans to deploy the HDS to other divisions at this time. Most common inner system use remains around and on Pertam for peace keeping activities.
