The Fourth Crusade

Those treacherous Latins have sacked Constantinople! The Queen of Cities lies in ruins, a victim of battle and fire! And now a Fleming--a Fleming!--sits upon the throne of Constantine. The indignity! This cannot be allowed to last. They must be forced out. Reclaim New Rome for her children. In the name of the Virgin Mary and Saint Demetrios!

This mod adds 1204 as a bookmark, taking place one day after the signing of the Partitio terrarum imperii Romaniae: the treaty that divided up the Byzantine Empire. Play as one of the successor states or one of the Catholic crusaders.

Features

• Many characters in the relevant region have custom appearances and traits
  
• A handful of unique decisions--such as restoring Byzantium, or declaring yourself an emperor-in-exile.

There are many other characters of the era on the map, placed there by Paradox from their original history set up. I made a few changes myself for accuracy, but largely left the set-up outside of Greece and Anatolia unchanged, that region is the focus.

This mod modifies no vanilla files, it uses files entirely by me, and thus will be compatible with anything.
