HIMS Countess Constantina

Equipped primarily with the ever-present Pydrinckian 7 inch gun, the Constantina and her sister ships are heavily laden for ships of their size, sharing a pair of heavy 9 inch turrets with the larger armoured cruisers of the fleet, allowing them to outgun and outrange many of their hostile contemporaries. Unusually, she features no torpedo armament, with the saved weight and space being for both an extensive suite of anti-aircraft guns and the capacity for the launch and retrieval of floatplanes, though none are deployed with the ships as standard. The class' draught is, due to their considerable proportions (for a protected cruiser) somewhat too deep for safe operations in the Intermarium, necessitating the deployment of lighter ships in their place.
