Crate's Edge

Both my armor and gun were finished and ready, but I still needed a melee weapon.

My first attempt failed miserably (it can be found in the Workshop under the name, Crate’s Sword). The second try around, I took my time, and did as well as I could.

First, I gathered any decent seeming metals I could find (Yes, I know. That’s not the smartest thing to do. To this day, I still do not know what kind of metals they were…..), melted them all together, then poured them into my painstakingly crafted mold. The sword would be made of one solid piece of metal, handle and all.

After it had cooled sufficiently, I removed it from the mold, and added a few details, such as my symbol, The Flying Crate, on both sides of the hilt. I sharpened the blade for hours and hours: Each little spike, and the spaces in between them.

Finally, after I had finished sharpening, I went outside to test it. To my surprise, it easily cut through anything I tried it on, including the neighbor’s cat that screams outside my window at night….. (perhaps all those mystery metals weren’t so bad after all?)
