About This Mod
This mod disables the Lost Towers DLC mission, removes the ability to Build SPARKs, and removes the reward SPARK for completing Mechanized Warfare.

But... Why?
The design space for this are folks who want to continue using SPARK weaponry but without having SPARKs themselves in their campaigns. This could be because they don't like SPARKs, or are using something like FIXR Classes, MEC Troopers, or SHIVs as alternatives.

What This Mod Does NOT Do
This mod will NOT disable any "extra" techs, GTS unlocks, or weapons/items related to SPARKs added by other mods. This purely just removes the ability to create SPARKs from the game.

Requirements

Compatibility
It leaves the Mechanized Warfare Proving Ground project for compatibility, it just removes the SPARK reward from it. Requires a new game for full effect. No guarantees adding mid-campaign.

I do respect others, but I can't help but question why people wanted this mod to be made, besides, what's one extra mechanised unit type to your roster? Also, just a question, you having problems with Steam lately? I haven't been able to purchase any DLCs as of today for some reason, and no, the Aviator Skin pack for Space Engineers isn't a DLC, it's a skin pack, it just adds accessories and skins, no new blocks or anything like that (this was mentioned in case there is a mechanic on Steam that allows you to see what someone has purchased recently on Steam), if you could enlighten me on why this glitch is happening, I would greatly appreciate it.

@deltappio Fair. That is the joy of XCOM 2: Each player can customize the experience for their own enjoyment. All I ask is that you respect that other people out there may want a version of the game which includes this mod in their list

I'm not on about that, I just think that having variety in the units you have makes the game more interesting as you have to take other things into account, never asked if it was safe to install mid-game, besides, having units that are just human? Not all that interesting, infact, when I stopped using clone troopers in Xcom 2 and went back to base game, I had less fun. So if anyone thinks I was angry about this mod, I'm not, I'm just voicing what I prefer, besides, I never asked if this mod gives me the Shen's Last Gift DLC, I know that you have to purchase the DLC.

@deltappio This mod is safe to uninstall mid game. It will not get you the Shen's Last Gift DLC mission, but it will bring back the Build Spark proving ground project

@deltappio this mod is for people who like to run other mods like MEC troopers, FIXR classes, and SHIVs in palce of SPARKS. Your reasoning for being so angry about them doing that is for you to contemplate. But, sheesh, chill out.

Man, fuck this mod and those who don't like havving SPARKs, my general reaction to that is: "go get a fucking life, nothing is ever going to be truly fair for you. Or anyone." So if anyone says that SPARKs are redundant, you're boring, who would want ONLY humans in their roster? Who? Be honest, because after a while, you would want a bit of variety. I already do but can't due to not having the Shen's Last Gift DLC.

It is compatible with any SPARK mods out there. Those mods may not "do" much without the SPARK unit in the barracks, this mod will not stop them from doing their things.

It DOES however disable the Rebuild Spark Proving Ground techs that other mods may add in addition to the regular Build Spark tech to try and avoid the ability to add SPARKs to the barracks.
