Trajann's Thrones of Khorne

Note: This mod is included in my Khorne Compilation. If you are subscribed to that mod, then you don't need to be subscribed to this one.

Hey there, it's been a while! With the release of Thrones of Decay, I knew it was the perfect time to get back into modding, and thus this pack was born. It adds 10 new units to the Khorne and Warriors of Chaos rosters. While it shares a similar name of the DLC, it's more so just a pack of existing units I had yet to Khornify, rather than only focusing on the DLC stuff. So let's get to the units!


Khorngors: Pretty much what you'd expect, they're bestigors with the mark of Khorne. They come in two flavours, dual axes and great weapons. They have a unique ability that gives them combat buffs the longer they stay in melee. They benefit from chaos warrior tech.

Blood Ogres: Like the Khorngors, these guys are pretty simple. They're maneaters with the mark of Khorne, and also come in two variants. They benefit from khornataur tech.

Forsaken Riders: These guys are pretty neat, they're forsaken riding atop flesh hounds. They have a unique ability that grants them armour sundering attacks and freezes vigour when they charge, and lasts for 15 seconds. They benefit from flesh hound tech.

War Giant: It's a giant...but Khorne. Yep. Benefits from bloodthirster tech.

Cygor of Khorne: A Khornate cygor, it has a smaller ammo pool, but with increased damage. It also comes with the skullfeast ability, and a unique ability that grants it combat buffs if an enemy spellcaster is nearby. It benefits from skullcannon tech.

Jabberslythe of Khorne: Fairly similar to the beastmen variant, with it's poisonous blood ability replaced with one that makes units flammable. Benefits from bloodthirster tech.

Toad Dragon of Khorne: Okay full disclosure, this might be my favourite new unit. I absolutely love his design and animations. Like his Nurgle variant, he has a unique breath attack. Benefits from bloodthirster tech.

Blood-Forged Goliath: This is a steam tank on steroids. It has an anti-infantry volley gun, and an anti-large cannon. It hits like a truck, but is very expensive. It benefits from skullcannon tech.

Fire Wyrm of Khorne: It's like the frost wyrm, but fire! Given some slight stat buffs, made daemonic, and given an aoe debuff ability. Benefits from bloodthirster tech.

Elemental Bear of Khorne: Its a big fiery bear! Comes with the same aoe ability as the fire wyrm, as well as a unique breath attack. Benefits from bloodthirster tech.

That's the roster! All of these units can be found within various Khorne buildings, and for the WoC, the required mod is needed in order to recruit them via buildings. If you don't plan on playing as the WoC, the mod can be safely disabled.

I had a ton of fun making these units, it felt good to mod again. Forgive me if I'm a bit rusty. As with most of my Khorne content, are these units necessary? Not really. Are they lore accurate? Certainly not. But do I think they're cool and fun to play with? Absolutely. I hope you all enjoy them, I'm excited to get back into creating content.
