For ages, people have battled within the sacred confines of the arena, where valor meets destiny, and champions are forged in the fires of combat. Introducing the champions of the arena, each bearing unique skills and mastery over their chosen weapons:

The Rogue is a master of stealth and subterfuge. In the arena, the Rogue uses a combination of agility, cunning, and precision to gain the upper hand.


Driven by eternal hunger and supernatural prowess, these nocturnal predators stalk the arena with a blend of mesmerizing charm and deadly power.

Harnessing forbidden magics and delving into the darkest depths of sorcery, these sinister spellcasters command the very forces of shadow and decay.

Masters of arcane knowledge and wielders of elemental power, these wise scholars shape reality itself with their incantations.

In this beta version, multiplayer features like player battles, direct duels, and tournaments aren't available yet. This release is for testing and bug fixing before the official launch. Although I haven't encountered any issues so far, I suggest you avoid playing with your favorite or unsaved characters—you don't want a bug to ruin a great run. It's rare, but not impossible.

If you do find a bug, think something isn't balanced right, or have a suggestion for a feature, please share it in the corresponding topics (BUG, Balancing, or Feature Request). I might not be able to address everything, but I'll do my best.
Please be as descriptive as possible; this is paramount to getting a better understanding of what is wrong.

Please note that controllers won't work automatically. To set up your controller, plug it in, click the controller icon on the game's right sidebar, choose the basic controller layout, then go to Community Layouts and find 'The Arena' version. You can see this in action in the video.

KEYBOARD ARENA USERS:
Note: on controls, just hover over the movement circle do not left click to move unless you want to stop. Simply moving your cursor in the circle will move you in the direction. Right click will 180 to Strife. Moving your mouse outside of movement circle will auto stop you.

The higher your rank, the higher your modifier will scale. Lvl 0 gains you no benefit. Gain rank by earning experience in the arena wave system. Tournaments do not gain you experience it grants you prizes.


Upon opening the arena, new tournament prizes are displayed, same for when a tournament ends. The prizes are regenerated. Each tournament the host awards a In game Artifact that is random and an arena artifact that is also random.


Artifacts purchased in the shop are used for combat. They do not grant buffs outside of the arena wave system and tournaments. Those rewards are granted through the scaled modifier in the wave system or the artifact given to the tournament winner. Shop is randomly generated each time you open the arena menu.


Health: A combination of Game Health, Arena Rank, Arena Defense, as well as any arena artifacts.

Stamina: A combination of Prowess, Arena Rank, and Speed, as well as any arena artifacts.

Power: A combination of Prowess and Arena Stamina, as well as any arena artifacts.

Defense: A combination of Prowess and Class, as well as any arena artifacts.

Attack: For martial classes, the key factor is Martial. For intrigue classes, it's Intrigue. For learning classes, Learning. Also, Arena Power, Class, and Arena Rank contribute. Intrigue and Learning apply to fantasy classes.

Agility: (Increases miss chance) Traits: Athletic, Forder, Open Terrain Expert, Rough Terrain Expert, Organizer, Forest Fighter, and Arena Class, as well as any arena artifacts.

Attack Speed: Class is the primary factor.

Speed: Trait: Athletic. Class, Age, and any arena artifacts also play a role.

Ok with game saves
no hardcore or what the achievement system is called.

Every mod that doesn't add animations or touch the male_head/female_head , male_body/female_body boy/girl .asset files.

I made a animation compatch for some but that's just about it. It doesn't tie in their systems.

Hey everyone,

I've got some not-so-great news about the next update. It's not going to have multiplayer, or at least not a multiplayer that actually works reliably. No matter what I try, I can't seem to get the vanilla multiplayer to load properly. It keeps throwing up some weird checksum error, and trust me, I've tried everything from uninstalling and reinstalling to wiping my whole system clean of anything related to the game.

Honestly, I just don't have the time to keep banging my head against this problem. So, for now, let's just cross our fingers and hope that the PvP character interactions are smooth sailing. But hey, if they're not, don't say I didn't warn you—I've been scripting blind here.

Sorry for the letdown, folks. That's the update for now.
