Elspeth faction recolor ( Wissenland and Nuln )

@Saiphe CPU is AMD Ryzen 7500F. I am installing on windows to see how it will behave in comparison. I really want to use your mod, its the only mod from my vanilla+ list that I did not get to work after moving to linux.

Potential for a unit faction card recolour in line with this colour change? As in the units change from the dark red to this purple? :3

@NacktMull No problem, I just dont know how to help you, it runs fine for me, there might be tools that could help you read the dump file to gain more info. But I dont have experience with that honestly.

Error suggests weak CPU ( Which is probably lie ) , It can mean more things and I am out of options. Maybe you are missing some dependencies on linux. But it is hard to say.

Meanwhile I am shaking my head as I just changed few variables, I did not introduced any new logic, so if base game without mods is running for you I have no idea why this mods is not working in your specific case.

Maybe if yo uhave an option to duabl boot to windows ( yea I know its lame ) to check if its your linux installation or hardware ?

@Salphe Thank you for the hint. I turned on compatibility and proton 10.0. The game is now starting without crashing when the mod is active but weirdly, its not working anyway, the faction color on the campaign map is still the default color.

@NacktMull do you run the game with compability on and proton selected or just native version? You cna check those option if you right click the game in steam library and select compatibility. If not try to enable it and let me know?

@Salphe Hi, I got the game to run without any crashes now with all my usual mods, except this one. I am pretty new to linux, so I don know how to share the dmp with you here, since it does not seem to be a text file? What would be a good way to share the dmp with you?

@NacktMull Thanks for your input :) Fellow linuxer, I also run this game on linux with compatibility mode on with proton GE selected. Maybe this will fix your problems. But the error suggets something with your CPU, which is strange as the mod is just changing few variables.... Probably good to check the dump file mentioned in the error message or share it here in this thread so I can take a look.

I'm on Win11 but just started an Elspeth campaign with this mod, Mixu's Unlocker, and MCT. No crashes. As you're on Linux are you running the native Linux version, which may not be updated, or Windows version via Proton?

Thank you for the fast reply! Let me start by saying that I consider your mod to be essential in any Elspeth campaign. So now lets get to the problem. The game starts just fine with all my other (vanilla+) mods active. Only when Faction Recolor is active it crashes during startup every single time. I made sure by starting with no mods and then by starting with only Faction Recolor active. I am running on Nobara Linux, error message looks like this: https://imgur.com/a/mjzOULk
