If you really want to start modding then you dont have to know modelling, blender, coding and all that stuff. My vehicle mods are custom scripts free, they are just based off ready prefabs that you get while importing ravenfieldtools into a unity project. I recommend joining the ravenfield discord server because im sure other modders will help you start your modding journey. Regarding the models, go on sketchfab or simpleplanes site because you can export models from the game to 3D objects file with every part selectable, the model just cannot be a single mesh because it wont be moddable. I wish you luck and remember, never give up 💪🏻
I've also been thinking of starting to make a new Mi-24/35 mod since there hasn't been one for a while, but as someone with zero experience modding, modelling nor coding in Unity nor Blender, damn I have no idea where to start lol especially that there's no helicopter modding guide either ;;
I plan to make some new vehicles soon, like an Mi-8, Rosomak-M1M or maybe smt else, but this and my previous vehicles wont get remade as they were just things I liked to get known to modding. Also I didnt touch the Unity itself since the release of these so yeah..
