Sand, sand and more sand, the map is mostly open with a small mountain range that has a VP to fight over, though the map may be open with minimal obstructions an dream for a simcities to play on, mechanized Infantry, support weapons, artillery/call in's and fast armor across the front will be more than enough to break through.
