Original mod notes (1.4):

- Added Royalty faction goodwill patch
- Added back the Hiring Console
- Increased the combat power of the more basic pawns a bit to not make them too numerous
- Added compatibility with SwimmingKit
- Removed the crafting of the weapons for balance, via PlayerEmers
- Weapons are now behind tech-print research, via Röstli
- More starting scenarios, via Röstli

The Ferrex are a ferret(Mustelid) humanoid species.
This race is attributed with a great degree of business acumen!
Uses the Humanoid Alien Framework by Erdelf and co.

Art by Xen. Inspired largely by Ekksu's great ferret art for the Animal collab project!

Thanks for keeping this. Does anyone know why you get random ferrex heads on people? There doesn't seem to be a gene that controls the ferrex head so I'm trying to figure out how the game determines if they should have the head or not.

Thank you kind author for maintaining this mod! The Ferrex are one of my favorite race mods for Rimworld and it makes me happy to see that the mod is maintained.

Although the mod seems to work from my perspective, I get this error upon enabling this mod:

Type TabulaRasa.UpdateDef is not a Def type or could not be found, in file UpdateInfo.xml. Context: <TabulaRasa.UpdateDef ParentName="FerrexRace_UpdateInfoBase"><defName>FerrexRace_1_4_5</defName><date>2024/4/25</date><content>Due to a bad interaction with the developer of the HAR framework combined with the increased work required I have decided to not further update this mod. It will stay up to support the previous versions of the game.</content></TabulaRasa.UpdateDef>

Thank you for the update this was always hands down one of my favorite race mods and normally I don't like furry races.
