描述
Want to rename Rome to the Roman Republic? How about Republican Rome? This mod gives you that ability!

This mod simply creates a decision called “Rename Country” available to certain nations in the world. Clicking this decision will open an event window where several options to rename your country will be available.

Mod currently supports:

Rome
Carthage
Egypt
Phrygia
Seleucid Empire
Macedon
Sparta

can this be compatible with Poenicus? It would be pretty cool if you could rename your country Entirely! like right now in Poenicus i'm playing as Nemesi, and I thought "It would be pretty cool if I could play as morocco! I tried editing my save files but I just couldn't the area of the text doc. that had the infoon my nation. Thanks!

I also would like to add Massilia as well. I like keeping the original name rather than the leagues preferentially

Can I still rename Rome if I reform it into the Roman Empire? I can't do that if I reform Sparta into the Peloponnesian League, or Athens into the Delian League.

No names for Athens? any chance of updating and adding some new names. @JauPix1992 and @kosm1981 suggestions below are very good.

Renames for Peloponnesian League and Delian League please. As well a new rename for Sparta; "Laconia".

It probably is! I admit, I am not a great coder, so at the time being it is not my intention to add such a functionality. I will look into it, though!
