AG545 + GL + Carbine - Project Arms of Volga

"AG545 or Avtomat Grozna 5.45mm was developed for the Grand Ruthenian Ground forces as their service rifle, as the Vamir-77 proved to be hard to acquire in sufficient numbers. The AG is cheaper and easier to make, leading it to see usage in everything from militaries to insurgent groups.

Following its adoption it was given a dove tail for NVG's and other scopes and the 2o35 grenade launcher to fit it closer with the Vamir-77. It came to serve as a kind of a brother of the Vamir. Leading both to be used by Grand Ruthenian soldiers.

Soon the need arose for a carbine rifle, as special forces found the longer AG545 and Vamir-77 to be unwieldy in close quarters. And lacking support for suppressors. And vehicle crews lacked firepower with just pistols, leading to the development and adoption of the AG545-K variant. Which saw adoption by both spec ops,vehicle crews and even officers and soldiers."
