A small diorama, based within New York City in the year 1977. New york city, known today to be a great travel destination , was one of the worst places in the US, photos of the time feature dystopian looking landscapes, with extreme crime rates, a collapsing economy, incredibly high unemployment rates, industrial decline,and lack of social services, the city had become a breeding ground of violent crime, vandalism, arson and theft.

Massive freeway developments cut directly through the south Bronx, and entire neighborhoods were burnt to the ground as part of fraudulent insurance payout scams. Thousands of people were displaced and left homeless, New York had become the crime capital of the United States.

The diorama is pretty small, only really encompassing the alley, and part of the outside street, the maps really only meant to be viewed from miniature mode, at night, and with fog. Its good for photos, and is good to stage screenshots for workshop items or props. i actually made a couple props specifically for this map, the payphone, and radio/TV.

Apologies for the shadow/light flickering, this map makes use of a LOT of light sources, and RL's lighting engine does not like it. wish there was something i could do about it, but i felt that the lighting was too important to sacrifice.
