Speeder Mk. III (Cobra)

The ”Cobra” is designed to deliver a thrilling piloting experience. It is your joyful way of going places or to have fun, drifting around your base. Courtesy of the bench attached at the stern, you can even bring a friend!

Piloting-Advice:

This two-seater sports speeder wants to be piloted actively! The ”Cobra” is not a drag racer, it's a drifter: HEAVYLY bank into turns and let your upwards thrust carry you through the ensuing drift.

The speeder can be flown with dampeners turned off.

It is, however, recommended to get used to your craft first (i.e. with dampeners enabled, until drifting feels natural). “No-Z” low-level terrain chasing is a thrilling experience, but it requires multi-axis thruster inputs, heavy banking and pointing the speeder’s nose above the desired direction. Knowing which turns you can (and can’t) make commands some practice.

But there’s nothing like juuuust clearing that last ridge after hammering down a ravine and translating the momentum into rapid sidesways motion, skimming barely above a frozen lake!
