SDC LD-7 Kestrel Light Dropship

The SDC LD-7 is a light rapid insertion drop ship, made to operate out of forward operating bases and assault ships, the Kestrel is a lightly armed and armored planetary insertion platform. Primarily made for USCS and UCMC special forces the Kestrel is purpose built to get far behind enemy lines undetected and drop off personnel quickly. Contrasted to the role of the Osprey Drop ship the Kestrel's primary focus is to be cheap, reliable and quickly deploy able. Furthermore, given its small size the Kestrel can also perform recon for larger combat groups, in orbit, deep space, or on planets. This high versatility makes the Kestrel an invaluable asset to the Systems Confederated Navy and her sister armed forces branches. Solely relying off of electrical power to operate the Kestrel's primary propulsion the Kestrel can operate in environments where Hydrogen fuel is scarce, further equipped with two forward mounted Gatling guns the Kestrel is able to dispatch any lightly armored targets that may pose a threat to special forces operators.

I've been holding on to the Kestrel for some time and have mostly been putting off uploading anything as of late but I finally have the time to get her uploaded to the workshop, Im pretty proud of this ship even if its a really small project, and I hope you all enjoy it as much as I have.
