Flying Car MkI

描述
This car can fly. That's basically all you need to know.

More in detail, it has missiles, an interior camera, a transforming convertible roof that allows access to a single larger missile, and the wheels transform between 4 different modes, Road Mode, Boat Mode, Submarine Mode and the titular Flying Car Mode.

Road Mode is just normal, the car drives around as per usual and you can hit the booster button to drive at somewhat higher speeds or hit the super booster which quickly can empty the machine's energy bar but can propel the car very fast. The wheels have a lot of traction, so they do all the work to move the vehicle in this mode.

Boat Mode allows the car to drive on the water at low speed. Its not that useful, really, but its easier to go through tight water/cave areas where Submarine Mode is either too wide or too difficult to control precisely. The wheels have turbines in them that are used to drive in this mode, but as they are not water wings they don't provide that much thrust, nor do the boosters.

Submarine Mode adds weight to the vehicle and points the wheels backward, where the wheel turbines drive the car forward. Its very hard to control as the wheels are below the center of drag, so be careful with the boosters and the super booster as it tries to pitch upwards.

Flying Car Mode is the masterpiece of this vehicle, the anti-gravity blocks are turned off and it flies entirely on the wheel turbines like a quadcopter. It has gyroscopes to control its pitch, roll and yaw in both Submarine Mode and Flying Car Mode but here they allow it to fly like a helicopter or like an airplane if you turn off the wheel turbines, where the car can fly like an autogyro when the boosters are engaged and the vehicle is pitched up enough. There is a button you can press that works well to flip the car over if you have landed on your roof, and this does double duty to add more pitch authority when flying at over 800 km/h when the gyro doesn't have enough torque to fight the wheel drag trying to pull the car downward. At this point, you have to pitch down until you reach 1200 to 1400 km/h where the car settles down and becomes stable.

The interior is fully featured, and there are stabilizer wings in the front and back that keep it straight when going very fast, and the larger wing in the back helps keep it planted on the ground when driving with the super booster on. The interior has a steering wheel, levers and buttons for displaying all of your main control inputs. Sadly, I could not add more since I am at the bodies limit, having used up all 65 bodies allowed in online servers, whatever ones are still active. The character sitting in the driver seat has a special addition too, a laser cannon inside his head which floats above the car with one key and fires with another. A useful trick is to activate the missile lock and then interior cam to be able to see the target even through the car body.

It has a full salvo of 16 micro missiles in the front bumper and likewise a salvo of 16 micro torpedoes right below them, for swarming opponents with long-life missiles in one go and running away as your energy bar refills while your opponent deals with a swarm of weapons. Death By A Thousand Cuts, is how that works. The larger missile available only when in convertible mode opens up a hatch behind the rear seats doesn't actually deal that much more damage than the small ones despite how many blocks I packed into it, but that's okay, its more for show. Below the vehicle, however, is another party piece, a scatter machine gun cannon that lets you bombard targets below you. The rapid fire scatter of bullets means you can fly over and have a decent chance of hitting ground-bound targets or flying targets you rapidly zoom over top of without having to aim much at all.
