This reuploaded mod will replace M-16 with Bruen Mk9 JAK Shadow Titan Kit from Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III (2023) with increased audio volume.

What's provided in the original mod by 花鳥玲愛:

  • Weapon model with animations, custom HUD icon and sounds
  • Quieter-than-usual firing and handling sounds

Changes I made to 花鳥玲愛's mod:

  • Increased the volume of both firing and handling sounds
  • Compatible with any custom script mods (post-TLS update)

You have to subscribe to all Required Items to the right of the description. Please keep in mind that the custom script mod only works on local servers. So, if you use this mod on any official/unofficial online servers, there's a chance that you'll be kicked from the server.

@ozzy TL;DR, having a higher heapsize value in the game's launch options increases the game's allocated memory, thus reduces the chance of getting the low FPS and no audio bugs (and crashes as well). However, compressed mods are still needed for a safe bet.

@ozzy Someone made a post regarding the low FPS and no audio bugs when having too many HQ mods and according to the post's answer by @RF:

"Game is running out of allocated memory of 256mb for models and sounds and is unable to free enough memory because your custom models and sounds are too big in file size. One way to fix it to reduce the amount of high poly models you use or simply increase the limit with this launch parameter.

-heapsize 750000 (Rounds to 512mb, which should be enough.)

You can use "mem_dump" command to see the limits."

@Kiril Petkov Nope. When it comes to handling sounds, this weapon mod uses all of its handling sound events from the M-16, so you shouldn't be worry about potential conflicts with other weapon mods.

setting the heapsize to said amount, are there like pros and cons to it?

Is the empty mag inspect animation fixed? Also I think handling sounds should be removed from most guns, only the reload and firing sounds are enough, cause too many handling sounds can lead to problems if you have other weapon mods installed.

@ITHEUS Intentional or not, I honestly can't blame them. If you still want to enjoy HQ mods with less lags and crashes, you have to input -heapsize 750000 in the game's launch options.

@komrade13 That's what I originally planned for this mod, but I decided not to do it because most of its .vtf texture files cannot be accessed via VTFEdit and the image resizer sofware for compression work.
