The Church of the Children of Atom is a religious movement that worships a deity known as Atom. They also revere radiation, which they call "His Glow.” The Children send preachers to spread the word to the Commonwealth, although the outcome of these expeditions are not always peaceful, as travelers who cross paths with the Church are often met with suspicion and hostility. The faith has spread across the north-east and would reach as far as Kansas by 2197. Where most people see weapons of mass destruction, the Children see holy tools of creation. Generally, they believe the world was created when an atom was split, and that each nuclear detonation represents the birth of countless new universes. A decentralized movement, the myriad sects each follow their own interpretation of the core dogma. The philosophy of each sect tends to reflect the unique perspective of its leader. These groups range from peaceful believers pursuing coexistence with the rest of the wasteland to militant zealots desiring nothing more than the nuclear annihilation of all mankind.

Or in other words, they learned to stop worrying and love the bomb.





Q: What is a alive faction mod?
A: It is a mod mode using the ALiVE mod, all done ingame. It replaces the base units default loadout on spawn & initialization with the loadouts I have created, that is why you need the mod if you with to make changes. see last pic above to find out how.
