Yes, thank you. I think that would be best choice, since that would make mod natively compatible with any other mod that adds XL or XXL size ships.

Thank you for the report. I confirmed that the issue can indeed be reproduced when tested in Asgard, so it seems to occur with larger sizes. I would like to change it so that the default value is used when the leader size is not S, M, or L.

If its possible to make only fleets with ships L-size and smaller use narrow formations, then i think it would fix any issues possibly happening with XL size ships in a fleet, with any mod.

maybe, if its possible, its better to make a mod fall back to default distances, if ship Leader is XL or larger. so that a new narrow distance formation is only used for L-size and smaller fleet leaders.

I think it might depend on Fleet Leader ship's size.

I am playing SWI mod right now, and with ship size of L it was mostly ok.
When i took XL size ship as as fleet leader 1 other L ship started to drag behind and not follow formation, blue line representing current orders on map was constantly blinking.
Then i switched ship to another XL, but much bigger in size. And almost all ships stopped following formation.

As soon as i deactivated mod - all ships immidiatelly started following formation properly. I`m playing 7.5 version with SWI mod and DABC mod, which adds larger XXL ships.

7.60 Public Betaで「Fixed wingmen not following leader.」とあります。バニラの問題かもしれません。

Schwarzemona if your asking me, sorry that was back in March and all I remember is that some ships worked, but some did not. all standard vanilla ships.
