描述
NATO forces have landed on the island of Malden. Retake artillery position from paratrooper forces and blast enemy beachhead.
Defeat NATO forces in Arudy to regain control of the remote controlled 120mm twin mortar systems.

The "main course" of this mission is the infantry battle for the town of Arudy. After defeating the NATO forces in the town, it will be time for "dessert" in the form of using the new Reaction Forces CDLC twin mortar system to destroy beachheads established by NATO with the help of reconnaissance UAVs.

This mission was created because I wanted to have a scenario to play with the new 12.7mm assault rifle - the Veles. It's firepower allows to take down even well-armored soldiers with a single hit, making it an excellent tool for urban CSAT forces.


REACTION FORCES CDLC IS REQUIRED FOR THIS SCENARIO.


Procedural generation is used in the mission to make it fresh and interesting on every playthrough.

Exact buildings occupied by NATO forces, patrol routes, terminal and player squad spawn position as well as exact time of day are randomized each time mission is started.


COOP mode is available for up to 6 players.

This mission takes between 20 - 30 minutes to complete.

ty BF, fun mission with the new cdlc

Liberty I got a regular 'mission complete' after using the artillery to destroy the last of the beachheads. You do have to kill each enemy at those beach heads, so yeah some of em it does get a bit tricky getting the artillery to nail them.

even after killing all NATO personel there is no end to the misssion and there arte to many houses to check; it becomes boring
