The lost Cimmerian of the Hyborian Age, Conan, joins Heroes & Legends.

The thrall rises to answer his Khan: "What is best in life? To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentation of their women." Conan was invented by Robert E. Howard to demonstrate chivalry in an age of savagery. This barbaric warlord, mercenary, thief, pirate, and, yes, even hero belongs to the mythos of the Hyborian Age, a time between the fall of Atlantis and the emergence of the Aryans of the Pontic Steppe. Conan is a mighty man born on a battlefield and blessed by the gods for a life of war and rogue adventure. His only weakness: women of the robe and wenches.

Origins: American short fiction, 1930s AD; Lived after the fall of Atlantis and before the ethnogenesis of the Indo-Europeans or Aryans; ethnically a Cimmerian (Scythian) or (fictitiously) a post-Atlantean and proto-Celt of Ireland and Scotland that lived in the Pontic Steppe (now Russia).

STRUDELER'S HEROES: CONAN

FEATURES
  • Requires: RISE AND FALL, GATHERING STORM, and BABYLON.

    HERO: CONAN
  • Class: Melee.
  • Unique Ability - Conan the Barbarian: Conan has up to 10 Charges to convert adjacent barbarians to his side.
  • Unique Ability - Conan the Destroyer: Conan gains +1 Movement in enemy territory, heals 25 HP from defeating an enemy unit, and pillaging costs 1 Movement.
  • Common Ability - Rescuer of Damsels-in-Distress: Conan gains +5 Combat Strength against male Heroes and -7 Combat Strength against female Heroines.
  • Common Ability - Rugged: Ignores Movement penalties on Hill terrain.

COMPATIBILITY
  • Works with Strudeler's Civilization VI Deluxe.
  • Strudeler's Civilizations that have a unique Temple replacement (Delhi, Nasran, Romano-Israel) are compatible, granting the appropriate 15% discount when summoning Conan again.

    Where you reference heroes in your code, you have the mario hero pointed at the TMNT one. causes a conflict between the two. Fixed my interaction, but just giving you a heads up.

    No movement penalty in hills is a touch of genius, Cimmeria is a gloomy land of hills after all. Truly a mod made for the Howard enjoyers.

    Very well. I will give a credits to you and those guy (you mentions) once I complete and update the AEP mod. I already test it with my custom hero unit and work fine (along with Flactine's custom epic great work mod).

    You should go to the Civ VI Modding Helpline Discord. I was given the .lua/.sql lines for compatibility from that Discord. You will need to thank the likes of Mico27 and Zolaar. You will only need to reference me if you are making one of my mods a requirement. In Conan's case, his files reference other heroes and assigns either a male or female sex in order for his Rescuer of Damsels-in-Distress ability to work. Even though other heroes are referenced in the file, there was no conviction to thank all the other hero modders. Contrast this to Turok, a hero that relies on the Wildlife mods to gain his special abilities, whose mod refers and thanks other modders/mods.

    Hello Strudeler. Can I use Lua code (and some SQL code) that use for hero SQL table? Since I plan to make my custom heroes for AEP Core File which I would make it compatible to your mod as well instead of make custom one with my own custom SQL and Lua code.

    I will put your name in AEP core file special thank credits if you agree.
