A quick list of Black Mesa mods that I like.

The Permanent Shells mod requires a manual install and an optional additional line to an autoexec.
I added "bm_gib_on_health_below -100" to that same autoexec file. The default of -10 makes gibs a little too frequent.
I like setting "fps_max 63" because the default of 300 is excessive for my 60Hz monitor.
V-sync doesn't work on windowed or borderless windowed mode.

I added the following to my autoexec.cfg:
