TREKORION: FL-3A Python (Starter Ship)

During the entry years of the Colony War, the United Constellation of Settlements had a problem - due to the disbanding of half of the navy to form the other major powers, there was a huge gap in the UCSN's ability to patrol their space and respond to threats quickly. This is where the FL-3 Python comes in. Built off of the technology of the FL-2 Clipar, the Python has a similar impulse drive that's more of a side-grade than an upgrade. It can still function in a planet's atmosphere in the same way, but at a much slower speed. Instead, it has two small integrated warp nacelles for stabilizing the impulse manifolds at high impulse, almost reaching warp 1 without actually having a warp drive.

This allows it to respond to threats across a system within a matter of minutes, with its aerodynamic frame allowing it to drop out of impulse just above a planet and shoot down to do whatever mission it needs to while allowing its impulse drives to cool down.

I know it's made out of Titanium, but you get its building knowledge so early on that I thought it'd be fine :)
