Description

Have you ever wondered why you can't install a super-powerful artificial intelligence to manage the production of an entire planet and see how much profit you can gain from it, and how many human rights you can violate in the process?

Now you can.

This mod adds 3 special buildings, unlocked as you research more advanced AI technologies. Upon construction, each of these buildings installs an AI Core as the planet's governor. The AI core has a special skill, depending on the level of the core. The AI core mostly focused on economic development, does not occupy a leader slot, and it cannot be removed from the position of planet governor or sent to the council. If you decide to remove the AI from the position, simply demolish the building.

This mod is inspired by the game Starsector; bonuses from skills reducing resource consumption, maintenance, and increasing production are also taken from there.

Feature:
  • New Buildings that add leader Ai governor (Not for Hive mind)
  • Bots can (and will) build new buildings and have AI governors as well (depending on how it align with ethics)

Compatibility:

No modifications of Stellaris core files, so should be ok with anything.

Mod is designed to work without any DLCs, but if you encounter any issues, please don't hesitate to report them.

Localization

On other languages mod uses English version of localisation.

Mod is still in development (in rather slow one). Feel free to share suggestions or report bugs if you encounter any.

This is probably just a 'noob' question, but...
with the AI core, does one still use the 'automation' button? Because I've tried with that off and on, but the governors don't seem to build anything, either way. The pops are happy though. :steamhappy:

Кстати, просто интересно, если всё же извернуться и вызвать восстание ИИ в империи, планета с таким ИИ-лидером автоматом перекинется под, собственно, восставший ИИ?

Thanks for the report!
This issue is known, and it comes from the game side. Since version 4.0, on_destroy actions have stopped working in Stellaris (you can see the same problem with the Ranger Lodge building — it no longer removes its own blocker when destroyed, even though it has code to do so). Can't fix the game itself. Hopefully issue will be resolved in a future patch.

Probably will make a special decision as a temporary solution, but now best course of action is to upgrade building via decision, and then "decline" the leader in recruit window.

Seems that if you demolish the the Core Center before removing the AI, the AI governor remains in place and isn't able to be removed.

Hey everyone!
Sorry for the long silence — Had to focus on finishing university.
I'm back now and have added a small new feature: AI Cores can now be inbuilt directly into the planet as a deposit instead of a building (you still need to construct building first).

any plans to update this mod to new 4.0. With changes with build slots on planets changing, Makes having it a building hurt alot more.

отличный был мод, но после 4,0 на планетах со слотами под здания стало совсем грустно, в случае обновы, может есть возможность реализовать работу губернатора через планетарный депозит и решения, вместо зданий
