Looking at their comments this problem does not seem to be unique to paintings from this mod, so it's definitely their fault, sorry for spamming your comments :D

Ok no i checked it is indeed Smart minify which causes this issue, disabling that mod fixes it, and the uninstalled Painting does exist then

Wait a moment i just noticed when trying to change the bill to create a painting i can not designate any storage as the storage to bring it to, so i looked at the filter settings, adn there is indeed no "painting" option in the filter list, are you sure your mod isn't missing the painting item somehow?

and i guess they are unclaimed as none of my pawns ever put them there

The paintings are basically mounted to the chair in front of the art workstation as if it was a wall

I analyzed it a bit more, the paintings are actually in the built state, and not lying there as uninstalled items

as that is the problem, could it be the "Minify Everything" mod with the "Smart Minify" addon to that mod, which is causing this issue? Looking in to the Smart Minify config the painting does indeed not even appear as an option for a building that could be uninstalled.

I can't really help with your games behaiviour as this mod is very simple and doesn't have the power to even couse such a thing.

I still can't do anything with them, i can only "deconstruct", "remove paint" and "forbid" but not move them onto any wall
