The Legend of PAT Remake

描述
Years after the defeat of PAT have passed. You saved the universe from destruction. But, you wake up one morning to discover a note from PAT and that you have been transported somewhere new. He challenges your party to survive the trials he has set for you. Defeating PAT has only made him come back stronger and he wants revenge. Discover a new world and new adventure filled with new surprises and challenges. Your goal is to figure out a way to once and for all silence the Legend of PAT.
-Fully coded open world fantasy adventure
-Fast travel, forging, mining, shops, and power-ups
-4 unique endings, multiple super boss fights, and puzzles.
-Quests that grant experience.
-Find The Treasure of All Treasures and Survive The Dungeon of Legend
-I challenge you to find all 150 Secrets!
-This project took around 3 years to make. Please enjoy! :)

Resumption of Harpo discussion of December 21, 2024:
“When are you going to do the next upgrade? I follow Alex's LP and noticed you said that in the next upgrade maybe you will be updating many notes and chimes when the correct item is place in the puzzles. I will play again after this update.”
I'd also like to redo this dungeon after an update.

@pathom3, that is great news. Yes, I follow Alex's LPs and have looked at his Leaf's Odyssey. Not my kind of game but look's interesting. Legend of Grimrock is the only LPs that I watch on his site. Maybe it is me but the others look to old fashion of kiddish. Just my fashion but I see he has a lot of followers that like that type of game. Anyways, good to hear that you are thinking about making another mod. I know it takes a lot of work as I have started a few but don't know all the ins and outs. I may ask you some questions later on.

@harpo Yes, I do plan on making another Grimrock 2 mod but I want to figure out some stuff on my list before starting a new mod. Currently, I am making a mod for Leaf's Odyssey. Alex, the Youtuber who is playing my Grimrock 2 mod, created Leaf's Odyssey. You should check it out if you haven't already and you can catch my mod on that game when it gets released. I work full time and have a newborn baby so my life is super busy. I also don't get paid for any of this but I enjoy making games/mods in my free time just for fun and entertainment of others. I will work on making both :)

I encountered a bug when I played the game and wanted to switch character specs, but the game is no longer there.

@harpo As soon as Alex’s LP finishes (he might miss out on the Mines area and completing Dungeon of Legend…we shall see). I’m gonna transfer my files to Windows from my IMac computer. Then, it’ll be hopefully easier to add the extra stuff. If other people in the Grimrock community helped me figure out things on my list the next update would arrive faster.

As of this patch, no balance changes. It's open world, so it depends on where you go and what you find. One way could have a powerful Heavy Weapon early on where as another way could have something else. I eventually plan to edit items but that is still a while away.
But any party composition can win (even Farmers and Firearms). You will be anywhere from Level 18 to Level 21 by the end. And there is a town some hours into the game but you have to find it. If an area is too hard, go somewhere else. Keep all items because even rocks can be important. And save often, my mod is difficult.

I'm planning on giving this one a go soon. Regarding party compositions, are there any balance changes to skills/weapons/spells (like vanilla Firearms was pretty meh) or are there specific skills/magic that is extremely good to have specifically for the mod?

Your screenshots are funny to me because there are so many enemies and I did not put those in lol. The only screen shot that looked somewhat normal was Shadow Dragon because I did put a Spider spawner in that room. Yeah, I love chess so I wanted to put a chess puzzle in my mod. I'm glad you liked it. Congrats on beating Dungeon of Legend!

Yeah, I'm not sure why there are so many more enemies, it looks extremely hard lol.
