Gordon actually wears helmet

描述
This is Paynamia's Gordon Freeman from GMod workshop, I added helmet bodygroup and changed material from "flesh" to "metal" to imitate an actual armor - You will see metal sparks and hear ricochet sound when you getting shot. You will see blood effect only when getting health damage (even with god mode).

There's actual Gordon Freeman's head under the helmet so consider it's totally lore friendly.

Since this model have proper hitboxes the game may become a little harder.

All content used in this addon belong to their respective authors.



You need the required HEV suit addon for the textures to work. And for overall consistency.
Better anims addon is optional.


If this mod doesnt work for You, then:

A) resubscribe / install manually
B) check for mod conflicts

Ah, I see. So how do I check if the helmet is there without using thirdperson?

I can tell if that's an answer or a question.

If an answer, then I'm definitely curious how you got the thirdperson shots.

If a question, I'm not sure, because it uses the same model the "Updated HEV+ Xen" uses.

Weird... all I have is the "Updated HEV + Xen" and "Thirdperson" mods alongside this one.

I have no other model mods...

there is no helmetless model in this vpk, You probably have conflicting mod or You changed model via console

vanilla model is player.mdl

I know, but whenever I use it, it doesn't replace the model, so it's still just helmetless Gordon.

I even have the files in the "custom" folder, same as the updated HEV and thirdperson mod.

I have no idea what's causing it not to work right.

yes, it replaces playermodel for singleplayer campaign

So idk if it's just me, but I have both of the required mods and for some reason he still has no helmet.

Perhaps it's the thirdperson mod? That's the only thing I could think of that would cause this one not to work.
