Renfe Class 446/7

In 1984, RENFE commissioned a prototype of an explicit suburban train, already looking towards the future UN Cercanias which, although a failure, paved the way, both for the design and implementation of the 446.
CAF delivered the first unit in 1989, with a special livery, similar to that of the 435. These trains were designed only for commuter services, so it was decided to sacrifice the maximum speed to have units with a lot of acceleration/deceleration capacity for operate in centers with stations very close to each other. These units have an M-R-M layout with the pantographs in R car. They measure about 75 meters long although in centers like Madrid they almost always circulate in double composition. These units were under construction until 1993 and were They delivered 170 units although 5 of them are dismantled and another 5 set aside in different states of conservation.
In 1992, the first units of the 447 series were also delivered, very similar to the already tested 446 but with several differences such as the inclusion of baths, slightly different dimensions and, most importantly, a higher maximum speed to serve those cores with lower density of stops like Valencia. Of this series, 183 were manufactured, with 1 unit scrapped and another set aside. In 2014, 447.140 underwent a series of reforms at the Vallalodid BMI and car R was adapted to have a low-floor door to improve its accessibility. As of today all the units have already been renovated to PMR. There are also other minor reforms such as the regional reform for Rodalies MD services.
After the award of the new commuter trains, there is talk of the possible withdrawal or sale of the 446 of the first batch with EFE representatives visiting various bases in Madrid to evaluate their purchase. The possibility of selling them to operators has also been considered. private companies anticipating the liberalization of suburban services.
This mod adds both the 446 and 447 and 447 PMR series with 12 different versions, custom sounds and assets to facilitate decoration.
