Kobald GMF Mk.2

Smaller and cheaper than its larger cousins, the Kobald still packs a punch thanks to its railguns and 15mm machine guns. An HV shield, additional steel armor in front, and a titanium-walled cockpit give the mech good protection for its weight class.

The Kobald is mech HV designed for rough living. While made to fit a standard mech gantry, the Kobald can also be laid face-down for easy ground access to its double-shutter cockpit hatch. This hatch also makes drone usage from the cockpit a breeze. The oversized ammo magazine can store extra fuel and oxygen for extended missions, as well as loot pilots might bring in from the field.
