描述
Two huge World Scenarios with pre-placed Civs and resources. Founded and captured cities are automatically named based on their location.

Accurate Earth I: Shoshone, America, Aztecs, Brazil, Spain, England, France, Germany, Rome, Russia, Ottomans, Persia, Mongolia, China, Japan, Indonesia, Siam, India, Egypt, Ethiopia, Songhai, Zulu

Accurate Earth II : Iroquois, Maya, Inca (DLC), Celts, Portugal, Poland, Venice, Sweden, Byzantines, Huns, Babylon (DLC), Greece, India, China, Korea (DLC), France, Netherlands, Polynesia (DLC), Arabia, Germany, Carthage

Requirements
* Brave New World and Gods & Kings

Recommended mods are available in the above-linked collection, "Accurate Maps".

How to Load
Choose the either 'Accurate Earth I' or 'Accurate Earth II' (requires Babylon, Korea, Inca and Polynesia DLC!) in the setup screen (Screenshot #1)
Scenario If you want to play with the pre-placed Civs, tick the Load Scenario check box.
Normal Map Set up the game as you normally would. Cities will still be named based on their location.

Special Scenario Rules
* Can found cities as little as two tiles from existing cities
* Cannot found cities on Marsh, Jungle, Snow, Tundra or Desert tiles
* Cannot build Trading Posts or Farms on Desert tiles
* Grass Hills: +1 Food, -1 Production
* Castles and Walls: +1 Production
* Up to 9 Religions may be founded
* Pantheons cost less faith to adopt
* Each Civ has constraints on the number of cities they can found in each era.
* Cities grow more slowly, but generate less unhappiness.
* Settlers, Scouts, Caravels, Naus, and Sea Beggars can enter rival territory
* Barbarians cannot spawn in Snow terrain

For Modders
If you want to add dynamic city naming to your WorldBuilder scenario, you will find all the files you need in this mods' City Names folder.

And I just tried 'load scenario' (as Netherlands), but I started in Asia and my capital was Jakarta. What am I missing here?

I'm confused... I played without loading the scenario (because I wanted to play as Egypt), and the game didn't place me in North Africa. I'm not sure where it's placed me. And my capital is still Thebes (so it doesn't seem to reflect the location). Maybe I'm missing something, but I thought this was a true start situation?

wouldn't mind the city limits feature if it actually applied to other civs

NOTICE TO ANYONE INSTALLING THIS MOD:

Just by having this map enabled, settlers will not be able to settle on Jungles, Tundra, Snow, Deserts, and more. (Even on different maps!)

Just trying this mod out for the first time. I like the map
Not crazy about the city limits.
Japan is my Favorite Civ - Limited to 2 cities in Classical age China gets 6 ????? Historically accurate probably but not great for play-ability. Also Small Japanese main Island not good for Play-ability either. :Uranium:

@Shadesmith sekect the map from the setup screen, there's a "load scenarios" button.

Does It work with Vox Populi?
Shadesmith 2023 年 10 月 17 日 上午 11:37
No way to get it to show up in scenarios, no scenario to tick. Pretty maps if you load them normal, but that whole 'true start' location? Yeah, Egypt is not in Ontario.

it doesn't appear to me, even following all step
