Train Carpentry

描述
Since other skills allow using up resources to train said skill, i thought to add the same functionality to carpentry.

Features
  • Train carpentry using planks and scrap wood as materials.
  • You need a saw, and either a hammer or screwdriver as tools.
  • Has a random chance of keeping materials after, and its increased by your carpentry level.
  • On failure, planks get downgraded to scrap wood, and scrap wood is destroyed
  • In any case you gain XP, random to a degree, and modified by your carpentry level too.
  • If more materials are present, training will continue in a loop, similar to the "Auto" series of mods

Future plans
  • Balance, i dont want this to be OP and a substitute for the regular disassembly loop, but an addition.
  • That said, if you have balance notes, i will consider them.
  • Add Nails/Screws as secondary materials, necessary if you want to use the hammer or screwdriver.
  • Add bonus XP the more tools the player has. Having only the saw will yield the least etc.
  • Add less XP for working with scrap wood
  • Not multiplayer compatibility tested but if it isn't, it will be :)
  • Better UI

It totally works on MP servers. You just need planks of wood, or scrap wood, in proximity to you, to have something to train carpentry against.

Yeah, this doesn't work on a MP server right now, sadly. I hope you can get that implemented soon.

This looks fantastic! Going to try it out later! I hope you create a version of this for metalworking and electrical as those are a right pain to level up.

is there a version for metal working? Would love to use it along side of this one so badly!!! I'm temporarily using another mod to supplement the metal working part but I love your mod style so much more.

Maybe a 30-35% nerf to XP as said below, also could you make it contextual by clicking at the planks? makes more sense.

Also where is the metalworking variant? I need metalworking train mod much more than carpentry. :P
