Tired of fumbling with car doors while the undead horde inches closer?
Say goodbye to the hassle and hello to "Just enter that car"!

This is one allows you to use a hotkey, to safely enter your ride.
In times of hurry and stress, it can be tedious to find the correct spot (green square) to get into your vehicle.
I got several times bitten, just because I could not manage to find the correct spot. But no more!

The default hotkey is CTRL+E.
The hotkey's modifier (CTRL) is configurable as well. It is also possible to remove the binding and deactivate the modifier. But make sure there are no key binding collisions for your hotkey (E) when doing so!
The maximum walking distance to the car (in tiles) is configurable too. See the tab 'Mods' in the settings menu.

Multiplayer support! The mod remembers the vehicle and seat, when you leave your car.
If your friend moves the car in the meanwhile, the correct positions and angles are calculated when you want to enter it. So it feels natural and immersive, since your character always moves to the correct position.

Ideas for the future:
If I have time for it, I would like to add the following features. Feel free to add any suggestions!
-Always move to the nearest non-blocked door, which has a free seat. At the moment, the character simply moves to the door you last used to leave your ride. This is great so far, but can be dangerous when Zeds are nearby or if your friend is sitting on that seat.

It seems that the issue does not affect some modded vehicles. After pressing the key combination, the character only moves toward the vehicle but does not stop precisely within the door's interaction area. Instead, the character stops near the door and cannot enter the vehicle. The mod I am using is "Autotsar Tuning Bus.":aurip:

I will upgrade the Mod to Build 42 when the Build is in the stable branch. I don't have the time to possibly upgrade the mod multiple times during the beta phase (or maintain multiple build versions).

Hey there :) I just updated the mod to version 1.2.0. You are now able to configure the modifier key (CTRL) with any key you like - or deactivate it at all by removing the assignment.

If anyone is playing from a non-windows environment and noticing translation issues in the settings menu, please re-♥♥♥ the mod in the steam workshop. The reason for this is that steam is not updating the directory names properly if only case specific changes were made. This should be no issue on windows systems, since this OS is not case sensitive.

I tried to change the archives by my own with no good results. I had an error when I launched the server.
Maybe I explained bad my suggestion, so here I go again: I would like to use Alt + E combination instead of CTRL + E combination. When I talked about "ALT / SHIFT" I was saying the possibility to use "SHIFT" or "ALT" modifier instead of "CTRL" modifier, in combination with "E" keybind obviously.

That's all. I will wait patiently if you can update your wonderful mod ;)
