描述
A remake of Lost Glider from COH2, a 1v1 competitive map - it is quite a wide map but otherwise small. It is based on Operation Ladbroke and the gliders which were lost during the invasion of Sicily - Thanks to Espus for the name suggestion.

"July 1943. The naval invasion of Sicily was preceded by glider landings. Glider 26 hit a tree and lost its wheels - it was considered to be one of the lucky ones in Operation Ladbroke, as there were 65 gliders that crashed into the ocean, and 252 men drowned that night."

An update to the enviorment lighting would be nice, after an offical patch that changed all lighting we got to rework the light values on custom maps. What used to look nice now looks a bit too saturated. That's all i can think of.
This is honestly up to official map standards, would be nice to see Relic add this to the MP map pool!

Great map! One of my new favourites :) 10/10
The map layout with cutoffs and just territory in general is great fun design :)
Really like the style of the map, it looks beautiful!
Placement of cover and buildings is also very good!
Also the 'story' of the map is great, either side you pick to play with either teams the design makes for some meaningful gameplay.
I just listend to a WW2TV episode on Operation Ladbroke, what a tragedy it was. Thanks for bringing a little bit of light on this part of the US Glidertroop history!

Keep working in Italian and North Afrika maps. These theaters of war, deserve that.

Thanks, this one was a lot of fun to make but it took forever! I have a 1v1 I'm thinking of doing next but I also need to make balance changes to Torch, then planning on doing some larger ones again.
