The Shade

Standalone mod for the improved "The Shade" set included in XMAX FTW. See the screenshots for details on all items. The original set was nothing short of terrible, but I've overhauled it and made it fun to use.

The set bonus was so punishing that it made the set unusable, you'd just die to any elemental or vitality damage attack, and its other resistances still wouldn't protect you very well against anything on Legendary. This has been rectified so that the set is actually usable now. The set bonus also grants +300 OA and DA to make up for the fact that none of the items have any OA or DA on them. Each item also got a few extra stats that enhance the fantasy of the set.

The armor pieces have had their strength requirement reduced to 50, so that casters who want to use the staff are able to equip the full set.

Projectiles from the bow and staff pierce through enemies. It's great fun, but the item tooltip doesn't display that effect, so I'm telling you about it here. The shield has a 2.0 block recharge time, down from the standard 2.5 seconds, allowing you to block more often.

This mod can be freely used in any mod merge as long as you credit me with a link to this mod. It was created for my merge XMAX FTW and can also be experienced there.
