Framerate issues at flooded floor and heavy stutter at peggman fixed since V2.2!


The world was once believed to be ruled by eggseals.
Seals that say EGG alot!

But one day they disappeared,
And nobody knows what happened to them.

Many dont even believe anymore that they existed at all!

The dungegg, the dungeon of the eggseals, was believed to be their base of operations!
But nobody every found it.

Until 1 day...
When 4 remaining egg seal believers got a sign...
A sign from the egg gods?

- The dungegg is a 35+ hour long custom dungeon.
- Includes custom assets!
- eggchant weapons and armor system!
- Bounty system to gain eggchant currency
- Real time cutscenes!
- Custom bosses!
- Lots more stuff!


Since grimrock wont allow uploads to steam workshop above 100mb (lame)
I had to upload it somewhere else.

Place DungeggV22.dat into:
Documents\Almost Human\Legend of Grimrock\Dungeons

IMPORTANT!
You will get an out of memory error after the intro cutscene.
To fix this issue you have to upgrade the grimrock executable to allow up to 4gb of ram usage.

There is an image file included in the dungegg zip on how to use it.



Dont use native linux build its buggy and gives error upon loading Dungegg.

- Download grimrock
- Go to its game settings in steam
- Go to the compatibility tab and tick the "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool"
- Select Proton 9.0-3 or whatever latest version there is, Should all work, Otherwise select 9.0-3
- Let it finish the download, Then start the game 1 time and then quit.
- Go to desktop mode on if on steam deck
- On Steam deck: Navigate to /home/deck/.local/Share/Steam/Steamapps/Compatdata/207170/pfx/drive_c/users/steamuser/Documents/Almost Human/Legend of Grimrock/Dungeons
And copy DungeggV2.dat there.
You might need to enable the Show Hidden Files option for .local to appear.
Also your custom potraits go into the same directory except change /Dungeons to /Portraits
- For other linux distros the path is likely something similar.


lower end computers might struggle at some parts of the Dungegg.



This mod was originally made for just 1 friend who never played grimrock before.
But I ended up putting way to much effort into it so I will share it to the world.
There are likely a lot of things/jokes you wont understand but it can still be enjoyed.
